Couldn't put it down.

This was a really good book. I've always been interested in anything that has to do with ESP. The main character, Ronica, has Class A talant, which allows her the abiliy to look into a person's mind, as well as direct and control their thoughts. Ronica also experiences a number of emotions. They change constantly, ranging from hate to love, from sadness to anger.

A shining star in Sci-Fi

Fantastic book! I've read it many times, and always anticipate the next page as if I were reading it for the first time. I have not read the sequel yet, but can't wait to follow the ongoing story.

Wow!!

From the first moment I read the sample chapter on the delrey site I knew I was in for something special, but even then I didn't quite expect anything of this standard. The first chapter grabbed my attention and it never let up until I put the book down, even then I was left going 'but.. but.. what happens now?!' Thankfully some of that was answered in the sequel and I can only hope that the following sequel to that is equally as compelling. The characters are real, so real that you feel your emotions being taken along for a ride, sometimes it brings tears, sometimes a fluttery feeling, but never does it leave you bored. I couldn't put this book down, I was even sneaking in odd pages at work! Definitely worth the investment of words in a book!Ms James, I look forward to more of your work, you truely are one of the bright new stars in the world of Science Fiction/Fantasy!

I compel you...

This book greets you with compelling characters, rivets you with compelling plot curves, and dazzels you with creativity. This is one of the best fantasy sci-fi I've come across. I compel you to read this book and don't forget to order the sequel, it is better, if that is a possibility, than this pleasure on paper, take an adventure and dream to be right beside these characters as they learn truths about life in their worlds and here on ours.

Excellent New Author

I LOVE finding new authors - I hope Ms James writes prolifically! The characters are real, the universe enticing, the blend of archaic and cyber is provocative. This book is a great treatment of "The Girl(Guy) with amnesia in a strange and interesting situation" theme.
