Perfection...

Perfection... Gloria and Bruce were deeply in love. Demon, Enervate, took human form and captured Gloria. He attempts to seduce her and turn her to the dark side. If she turns, it is the end of mankind. Determined to rescue his love, Bruce travels across the states. The fate of humanity rests on his mission. He knows he must collect the Four Pillars of Humanity but does not know what they are. Along with his companions, he faces danger and evil. How could I have over looked author, Sienna Skyy? She writes with authority and expertise that usually comes with years and years of experience. American Quest is the beginning of a new series. The characters and plot are exquisite. The flow is perfection, and the action does not stop. This is a must read! Fans of fantasy, romance, fiction, and drama will be mesmerized by American Quest.

an exciting urban fantasy

The Auxilium and the Pravus are at a sort of tug of war with humanity as the rope. The former tries to help mankind become all the species can be while the latter works on the fall of people by eradicating any residual decency. The battleground is usually balanced but rarely a particular person is born who will bring goodness or vileness to all in their circle. In that environs engaged lovers Bruce and Gloria are the latest hostages in this eternal battle. The Pravus Macul spirit Enervata has taken demonic possession of Gloria. Bruce is her only hope and he despairs on whether he is up to the quest. He is joined by allies who search for the Four Pillars of Humanity, which if found and activated will enable Bruce to fight to the death Enervata. AMERICAN QUEST is an exciting urban fantasy in which the audience will want to join the trek across the country. Bruce is a terrific hero willing to die to save the life of his beloved; others also sacrifice to assist him on his impossible quest. An Excellent and Magical Story

American Quest is the first in a wonderful new contemporary fantasy and supernatural four book series. In this first book, we meet Gloria and Bruce, two soul deep lovers with a passion and love for one another, that is powerful enough to change the world. Little do they know that there is a dark force out there that will do anything to rip them apart and destroy that love. That dark force is known as Enervata, the superior being of the supernatural force Pravus, whose main intent is to destroy all that is good in humanity and to disintegrate the purity of true love. Through trickery, Enervata manages to capture Gloria, with the intent of breaking the love she shares with Bruce and make her his own. In order to save her, Bruce must embark on a dangerous journey across America. With little to go on, he is joined by several people along the way, as he tries to gather clues to collect the Four Pillars of Humanity. This must be accomplished in order for Bruce to hold any hope out to fight the dark demon, which holds his life and future in it's hands, by enfolding his beloved Grace within it's evil cloak. American Quest is ripe with the supernatural and paranormal. A deep love story filled with friendship, trust and the power of never giving up. I found this to be a wonderful story that grabbed me from the first page and did not let go until the end. The characters of Bruce and Gloria were wonderfully brought to life, as were the several secondary characters. The scenes were vivid and easily brought the reader into the story. Several times, throughout American Quest, I was reminded of a mix between the t.v. show Charmed and the writing style of Heather Graham. That is just completely from my perspective and I cannot pinpoint exactly why I was reminded of these two things, other than perhaps the nature of the supernatural. I also have to comment on the cover art of this book. It is absolutely gorgeous and gripping at the same time. The essence of an endless rainy road, overshadowed by the transparent visual of a woman's face is haunting and memorable. It is a cover showing off a story begging to be read. I look forward, with great anticipation, to the next installment in this series. I highly recommend American Quest to anyone looking for an excellent story with a wonderful combination of magic, friendship, love and good vs. evil. Gloria and Bruce are lovers. Their love is a true love. One night during the Reach Out and Read fundraiser Gloria meets a mysterious man by the name of Mr. Aaron Vance. The next thing Gloria knows is she is waking up in a strange world, where she has been imprisoned by a Macul identified as Envervata. Enervata has taken Gloria because if he can make her fall in love with him then he can gain control and enslave humanity. Now in order for Bruce to save the love of his life, he will have to travel across the country to locate the Four Pillars of Humanity. But it won't be easy. Time will not be on Bruce's side. If Bruce doesn't succeed then all of humankind will be destroyed forever. I have to admit that at first I almost felt like putting this book down and moving on to another but I am glad I stuck with it as American Quest turned out to be a really good book. It moved a little slow for me at first but once the story picked up, I couldn't put this book down. American Quest can be described as an innovative, refreshing, fantasy, mixed with paranormal elements to be a book to get familiar with. I can't wait to read American Quest, Otherworld Quest, the follow-up to American Quest. Sienna Skyy is definitely an author to watch out for in the fantasy world. Fans of fantasy as well as new readers to this exciting genre will fall in love this Sienna Skyy and her American Quest books.
