Missed the play, but have the Samuel French (1996).

Samual French is hard to find, as they have been bought out by Concord Theatricals on December 17, 2018. So, the name has changed to protect the innocence. Time & Setting Zombie Prom takes place in the nuclear 50s. It is set in the hallways and classrooms of the Enrico Fermi High School, the classroom of “Exposé Magazine”, a television studio, and Toffee’s bedroom. After being rejected by the beautiful senior Toffee at her parents’ insistence: “… Small-town, rebellious teen, Jonny Warner committed suicide early the morning of the 14th by hurling himself headlong into the main waste treatment silo of the Francis Gary Powers nuclear plant. Jonny, who spelled his name without the customary H, has said to have taken his life in the name of teen love. A tragic case of a hormonal imbalance resulting in a Class III nuclear disaster…” This is supposed to be a musical, but distinctly missing from this Samuel French presentation is the score by Danna P. Rowe. So, I just must guess at the sound. However, everything else is in tack from stage setup to acting directions. The song words are there, and the devil is in the dialog. The best estimate is that this play is a cross between “Grease” and “My Boyfriend’s Back.”
