In 2008, an electorate dominated by regressive Baby Boomers had just nominated Sarah Palin to the John McCain ticket. To marketing agency director Alan Mason and his best friend, Stuart White, this moment seemed like the toll of a terrifying bell. A capitulation of common sense to conservative desperation. Over lunch, the two imagined the possibility of somehow "getting rid of" the cohort of voters who seemed intent on dragging America back into the 50's of their youth. And the only clues to preventing it may lie deep in Alan's subconscious, reachable only through friendship and empathy.
