This book is all about Zip. He is the rude goalie. His best friend that he grew up he deserted the team for a rival team. Zip cant help but taking it personally but he needs to lead the team into victory. Can Zip save the team by turning his anger and hurt into goaltending. You have to see. The vulgar language is normal what kids say on the ice.

The book "Zip" is a very good book for middle school children. The vulgar language is what middle school children hear. I am in middle school and this book was very exciting to read. I would recommend this book to all kids that like hockey!

Accurate and direct!

This is a great book for boys at the middle school age; eleven to thirteen. The language is very direct and, in some cases, vulgar. However, it is a true to life portrait of the middle school boy that loves hockey as much as dirty talk. A good book, overall!
