"Zerubbabel's Generation - The Urgent Return to the Altar" was born from the experience I have lived over the past 28 years pastoring and serving in different contexts of the modern church. This book is the fruit of much prayer, sensitive attention to the voice of the Spirit, and years of deep research. All aimed at the spiritual deviations that silently distanced many from the True Gospel.
I write these pages with great fear, but with a prophetic call to those who. Like me, they recognize the spiritual shallowness of our day and feel a burning cry to restore the forgotten foundations of the Christian see.
I draw a parallel here between the Babylonian exile experienced by Israel and the spiritual slavery promoted by corrupt religious systems, which exchanged for convenience and the presence of God for human performances. Inspired by Zerubbabel's leadership in rebuilding the temple, I make a heartfelt and urgent plea for a return to the old paths, brokenness, holiness, and the altar as a place of encounter and restoration.
