Excellent Classic Sci-fi Book

This is an excellent classic sci-fi book! In the universe of “Rissa Kerguelen”, there is another heroine/villainess, depending on who’s side you’re on! Full of action and adventure, this book is an awesome example of classic sci-fi at its best by one of my favorite authors, F. M. Busby! You have to read this book to truly appreciate the genre! Don’t forget to also read other books by F. M. Busby, especially the “Rissa Kerguelen” books, as well as his other various books and trilogies!

A great look into the early years of a beloved character

Zelde M'Tana is a main character in the Rissa Kerguelen Bran Tregare series. You get a rough sketch of her early history in the Rissa trilogy, but it leaves you with only a basic understanding of her motivations and personality. This book delves into her childhood, adolescence and early adulthood giving you an even greater appreciation of Zelde. While it is technically a prequel to the main series, it can be read at any point the reader wants insight into this character without over powering the storyline of the Rissa saga.

Fantastic, a real page turner!

If you like the rest of the Rissa saga, you'll love this book, I know I did.
