The book, Zebra Stripes, introduces the concept of personal branding, told through a tale about a zebra clan. The principal character, Sonny, is a bright, inquisitive young zebra who is clearly disturbed to discover that some of the park's animals - commonly known as the 'Big Five', regard themselves as better and more important than anyone else in the park.
At a zebra council meeting, it is decided that the zebras must do something to enhance their reputation. They must 'stand out' among the other animals in the park. This initiates a humorous, yet serious journey of self-discovery that culminates in the zebras' having "branded" themselves personally.
The second part of the book is a step-by-step, self-help guide to branding yourself - Branding is a life long journey and in the hands of the serious reader, this book makes the perfect instructor; simple, clear, and entertaining.
