Five years have passed since Zaibaki destroyed the Mar Gate and lost both Jokha and Uzuri, and he remains in the festering remains of The Grove on Proxima, hunting his kind down to the last one as they try to find a way off the continent in order to spread their dark infection.

He has become a dark savior of sorts for the few pitiful survivors of the fall of Arbor, trying desperately to take them away from the continent and onward towards safer shores.

He is kept company by the Ai version of Jokha he created from her memories.

Sometimes there is darkness there; a harkening to the demon blood that coursed through her veins, but she kept Zaibaki company, as they dreamed of being one day reunited with Uzuri once again.
