An English opportunist living aboard his yacht has developed a friendship with an Italian Mafia boss because of their dealings together in illicit artefacts. When the Mafia Boss's son has problems with the local police in Italy, the yachtsman, with the father's blessing smuggles the son into Greece aboard his yacht. Sailing to Greece for the Mafia son was a large learning curve as he had to grow up quickly and overcome his previous cosseted lifestyle While looking for artefacts the Englishman comes into contact with an undercover antiquities policewoman on loan from the London Metropolitan Police, who is determined to trap him. The Englishman and the young Italian discover a hoard of stolen gold, including antiquities from the Greek Mycenian period. Now the English sailor not only has to deal with the policewoman, but is also forced to fight with an old enemy gang boss from Albania who is looking for revenge concerning a past encounter.
