In this story: A boy named Myles is hypergetic and begins making noises with his mouth, leading him to discover his hidden set of powers. He discovers that he can do something, in which people call 'The Hum'. As he does, 'The Hum', he is attacked by his dog, who is agitated by the collision of power. From this point on, he fights his dogs, and many more enemies, including other Hummers, using his newfound power.
