Did you know that Jane O'Connor was a teenager when she wrote this story? I used to read Yours Till Niagara Falls, Abby over and over again when I was a kid. I wanted to go to sleep-away camp in the worst way!I would recommend this book to any child or adult who loves outdoorsey, campy humor. It is well-written and engaging, and satisfies that yen to escape that most kids have at some point. Escapists Enjoy! ~m. flores~

Years later, thinking it was out of print, I came across a copy in an airport bookshop. It's still a great read. The plot is simple - "(mis)adventures at summer camp" - but the characters and situations are very entertaining. I'd especially recommend it to fans of Lois Lowry's "Anastasia" series, and vice versa.
