Practical, quick read

The perfect book for someone in their 20's getting their first taste of managing their personal finances. It focuses on how to save money and prioritize your wishes in order to get the most out of the money you have. The best part is that it does not read like a finance text, instead, Torabi uses practical, everyday examples instead of esoteric terminology or useless analogies. The book reminds me of the old adage, "Some people learn from their mistakes, smart people learn from other peoples mistakes." Read the book to get some financial wisdom instead of having to make your own mistakes. It is the perfect gift for any young person you know.

You SO Must READ this book!!!

This book is outstanding! It is a clear, concise and entertaining read. But, best of all, it has practical application to ANYONE, and especially us younger professional set in our 20's and 30's. Struggling with finances can seem a losing battle, or at the very least a secret society you'll never gain access to. With "You're So Money" Farnoosh Torabi gives you the golden key to unlocking all those seemingly overwhelming questions about what the heck to do with your cash. You make your money make some money and you also get to buy that new gadget or that trip to Europe you've been dying to do, but you do it smart and empowered and without breaking your bank. I've been given the Suze Ormond books and hit the finance section of Barnes and Noble searching for that book that will finally talk to me in terms I understand and with useful advice I can actually manage in my lifestyle. Well, thank god for "You're So Money"-- because I finally found the book to do it. It's like having a financial planner in my apartment, sitting on my couch and breaking it down for me. Bravo! You should get it for yourself, every college graduate, every struggling young professional and everyone else in between, too!!

READ THIS BOOK

If you struggle with money in ANY way, you need to read this book. After following Farnoosh's advice and tips, I finally feel in control of my money for the first time EVER. She even inspired me to pay off all my credit card debt - which I thought impossible. And I am almost debt free. I wish I had this book when I was 21. Thanks Farnoosh! I am ready for your next one!

Entertaining Financial Book

As a woman in my 30s, I found this book to be very hip and enlightening. It informs younger people that they can have a great quality of life, without spending too much money, and it comes up with some fresh ideas. I also like the idea of inspiring younger people women to invest, yet in a very positive manner that is fun to read. The Jim Cramer contributions were also a plus!
