Harold, a seasonal worker at Bigwin Inn, was 14 years Ruth's senior and, her mother did not approve. A secret was created to keep the romance growing.
On October 10th 1936, Harold and Ruth mapped their future together and threw caution to the wind, hoping for the best. Their love story, however, had a bumpy road to their happy ending, with pressures running high and a desire to be together for all times.
