It was the summer of 1936, Harold and Ruth fell in love at Bigwin Inn on Lake of Bays near Huntsville, Ontario. Their relationship was considered scandalous. Harold, a seasonal worker at Bigwin Inn, was 14 years Ruth's senior and, her mother did not approve. A secret was created to keep the romance growing.

On October 10th 1936, Harold and Ruth mapped their future together and threw caution to the wind, hoping for the best. Their love story, however, had a bumpy road to their happy ending, with pressures running high and a desire to be together for all times.

Follow along reading Harold's love letters to Ruth, from the moment they left Bigwin Inn after the season was over, to when they could finally be together forever.

The prologue and epilogue was written by Harold and Ruth's son, Gary. The love letters have been transcribed by Ashley, their granddaughter.
