Your Life Follows Your Words

As a former Ladies Bible Study Leader for several years, I have read and completed numerous studies from Beth Moore, Growing Kids God's Way, Purpose Driven Life, Experiencing God, etc. This book has a powerful message of encouragement that reminds us that God is Almighty and we have His strength and power on earth when we call on His name. I enjoy the numerous scripture passages and find there is "a bite of meat" from each excerpt I read. I can't say I agree with every word the author has written, but I remind myself not to "throw the baby out with the bath water" and to relish God's word presented in a fresh, powerful way. I highly recommend this book to everyone :)

One Of My Favorites!

I have read quite a few books on this topic, but this is definitely the best!! WORD-based, easy-to-read, touches your very heart! I underlined many parts, and will certainly read it often!

This is an excellent book and I will now become a reader of all of Darlene Bishop's literature. I have another book of hers but I haven't had a chance to read it yet. I am anticipating that it will be just as good or better than this one.

This book changed my life!

I have been going through a crisis in which I have needed God to come through for me. I knew the basic concept of faith, believing and speaking words of affirmation, but it was not cemented in my spirit until I read this book. I am still waiting for my miracle, but I KNOW that God will come through for me, and the journey is much more fulfilling. The stress and pressure of the wait are off, as I continue to believe God for my miracle!

Christians who are saved, who have accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and savior, already have their needs met. Being a child of God allows you access to all the riches and glory in the world. The possibilities are endless on how your life can be abundantly blessed, if you only speak those things that are not as though they were. When you begin to train yourself to speak positive affirmations into your life, you will begin to feel the presence of God surrounding you. Bishop even speaks of going on a negative fast to get accustomed to saying and thinking positive things. You should also remind God of the promises He made in the Bible. When you are sick, tell God that you are healed. Don't say I am going to be healed; say you ARE healed. God wants His children to prosper in all areas of their lives: physically, emotionally, spiritually, financially and mentally. An essential aspect of having a healthy happy life is to avoid negativity. Having negative thoughts, speaking negative words and surrounding yourself with negative people are things you need to let go and leave behind if you want happiness. By separating yourself from these things you are preparing yourself for a life of peace followed by abundant blessings. YOUR LIFE FOLLOWS YOUR WORDS is a eye-opening novel that is life-changing. It helps you realize how influential the words you speak are to the life you will lead. Bishop shares how God healed her of breast cancer and other miracles that happened in her life because she spoke the words. She also shared a revelation that God gave her; she was given the vision of B.E.L.I.E.V.E, which stands for Because Emmanuel Lives I Expect Victory Everytime. As God's children, the victory is ours, in all aspects of our lives. A few years ago, I began distancing myself from negative people and began looking at the glass as half full. I have noticed a big difference in my life and the person I am today is alot happier than I was a few years back. Reading this book confirmed that what I was doing was the right thing. In every situation there is a positive and as a Christian it is our job to speak the positive in our life.
