Many times jokes may be bullying in disguise. Kids don't want to stand up for themselves when up against the phrase "I was just joking". They are usually scared to be labeled a tattletale, crybaby or sensitive. That is what happened to Nate when two bullies tried to ruin his day.The bullies said it was only a joke, but they were the only ones laughing.With the help of his best friend and the intervention of an adult, Nate was comforted.
