An excellent vintage book!

This is such a useful and educational book. I have been working on a collection of DIY house building books, and out of dozens this one has impressed me the most. It is packed full of sound information, excellent illustrations, covers a wide range of topics, AND has complete plans for 8 different homes. It's obviously dated, as it was published in the 1950s. However, much of the information is still applicable and helpful. It's a great piece for self education, guidance, or inspiration. Had I found this book sooner, it would have eliminated the need for many others in my collection because it covers so much.
