"A Child Shall Lead Them . . . "

"Unless you become as a little child, you shall not enter the Kingdom of heaven" . . . Recently Saint Therese of Lisieux - Saint Therese of The Child Jesus - "The Little Flower" was declared a Doctor Of The Church by the late great Pope John Paul II. And Saint Therese charted a course to guide us in living "the Gospel" message of Jesus which she called "her little way". Saint Therese showed us "how" we can become as a little child, even as adults, so as to find our way to heaven in keeping with those words of Jesus. A young child died in Portugal on February 20, 1920, just a month short of her tenth birthday . . . a young girl named Jacinta Marto. Jacinta, along with her brother Francisco and her older cousin Lucia experienced a visitation of the light of heaven in 1917 at the Cova Da Iria near Fatima in the person of Mary, The Lady Of The Rosary. Christopher Rengers, OFM Cap. in his short book presents the amazing effects this "visitation by heaven" had on these visionaries and in particular on the youngest of the three - Jacinta.
