This Young Writers Program (YWP) through Stepping Up 2 High School / En Route vers le Secondaire was inspired by NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month). This anthology is the result of the experience and joy of writing brought to the classroom where students sought to improve their English spelling and grammar and literacy. This was a chance to show students that they CAN write a whole story and CAN publish it. They learned about the publishing process, self-marketing, and how to organize a book launch. All these are excellent life skills for later on in their lives.
