You Won't Be Able To Put It Down!

Brooke Green captures her readers from the very first page of this book! This riveting tale of things done in the dark, and the horrendous consequences that trickle down to so many will have you on the edge of your seat. Ms. Green does an excellent job of showcasing the harsh reality of the unscrupulous "down low" lifestyle. The characterization is unbelievable. This gripping storyline takes you on a wild, scary, but true to life journey with Donna, Keith, Jarrod and Jackie and their interrelationships. Once I started reading this book, I couldn't put it down! Brooke Green is a very talented writer. I highly recommend this book.

You, me, him, her, us, you them!!!

Me, you, him, her, us, you, them... I received my autographed copy of "You, Me and He" on Saturday and spent all day Sunday reading it. Brooke Green has penned a debut novel that will have you scratching your head in disbelief. The title says it all."You, Me and He". What would you do if you found out your man...the love of your life is on the DL? And it wasn't just a rumor...You saw it with your own eyes. I can't say that I would have been as patient or as accepting and understanding as Donna or even Jackie for that matter. But who am I to judge? Love makes you do crazy things! "You, Me and He" is a love story from an entirely different perspective and I enjoyed it! Brooke's writing style pulled me in from the beginning and I was drawn to each character and their situation. Her wit shows through the dialogue and with each comeback line the characters throw out. Brooke's imagination is apparent in every scene and the storyline is bananas! I enjoyed "You, Me and He" this is surely a book that will have people talking! I look forward to Brooke's next project. I am a fan.

you me and he was a very good story there was a whole lot of secret relationships going on that blew up in the end... i feel that you are what you are be true.... i would like to see a follow up to see how jackie and sean made out also donna and kieth oops also JARROD

Donna was a character that you'll have a love/hate relationship with. You'll sympathize with her predicament in this story but she also had some gold-digging ways. Readers will root for Keith as he tries to move forward with his life with Donna. Jarrod proves that he's the jilted lover from hell. This story is full of heart-stopping drama and shocking twists that will have you flipping the pages. Green also did a wonderful job of incorporating HIV disease into this story. The 1st time you fall for something you're a victim

You, Me And He Donna has it all in her fiancé Keith. Keith is as close to perfect as any woman can get. He is smart, has a great job, house, and car. To top it off he is handsome. So you ask what is his biggest flaw? He is Bisexual. Donna decides to stay by her man's side as he deals with his "demons". She gives him one ultimatum and that is to be faithful to her and only her. Keith does his best to stay faithful. Enter his old college roommate and former lover, Jarrod. Despite being married with a baby on the way, Jarrod is relentless in his quest to win Keith back. Jarrod wants Keith all to himself; he wants them both out of the closet and to live as a couple. With Donna's nemeses back on the scene her perfect little world is threatening to come to an abrupt end. Can Keith stay on the "straight" and narrow? Can Donna continue have faith in her man or will the pressure Jarrod is putting on the relationship be too much for her to handle? This was a heartfelt story. In today's world with the Down Low man being so prevalent, this was a much-needed book. I love the fact that it's written from the woman's side of the coin. Brooke does a great job expressing the feelings of all the parties involved especially Donna's. I know with me personally I am scared to death to find out I am or have been dealing with a man on the DL and I'm sure it is that way for a lot of women. Throughout the story I often found myself screaming at Donna to get out while she can, lol. I completely understand why she stayed, as her reasoning was she knows what she is getting with Keith, so why take a chance with stepping into another relationship and getting the same result. I constantly wondered- would I have the strength to stay? I believe that was Brooke's intention - to get the reader thinking. She tackles a host of issues from the DL brother to the trust/lack of trust issues, to the STD's so widespread in today's society to the family issues. SiStar Tea ARC Book Club Inc 4.5 star rating
