By trying to play the hero, Felix puts his family in grave danger. In the aftermath of Lilith's visit, Felix finds himself haunted for real by something claiming to be his dead wife; something that is out for blood.

One of the best haunting books I've read

The fact that this author felt the need to explain before the book even starts that they're British and thus spells words differently than us Americans is very disheartening. You'd think this day in age we Americans would understand that we're the only ones that spell things differently... As to the book itself, I liked it so much I bought the Kindle edition and pre-ordered the sequel. I absolutely love a good haunting story and this delivers in spades. This book is fast-paced and keeps you wanting to go well beyond bedtime because you just have to know what happens next. And the chapter after the epilogue? It beautifully ties everything up with a neat little bow. I found one little error on page 173 (Kindle edition) "he" should be "she". I give this book 5 of 5 Paws and lament that I'll have at least two books in between this one and it's sequel due to the sequels may 23 release date.
