It's the quiet ones you need to worry about...isn't that what they say?

I spent 10 miserable years working at Publix, every day watching childish nonsense playout all around me. The land of the beautiful people, that's what I called that 4 walled hell. Everyday, every single day, some privileged pretty boy, or one of the countless, clueless tramps that dreamed of promotion, would come up to me, knowing nothing, nothing of the business, nothing of me, nothing of life, and say those fucking words... "You don't smile enough."
It was a nightmare, working there, dealing with the clueless souls that believed they were working there, when in reality...they were leeches, sucking the life out of the ones kept behind the walls, the uglies, the ones that did it all...but were hated by the very company it held up on their shoulders. It was enough to drive a man crazy...

And maybe it did.

Or maybe...what it did was take an already wounded soul...and drive the knife in a little farther.
