You Can, Through Christ: You Have Purpose

If you've spent any time at all with little ones it's likely that you've played the 'why' game. Toddlers in particular are infamous for their curiosity and persistence to learn everything about the world around them. Why is the sky blue? Why do we wear pajamas to bed? Why can't I touch that? Why does Daddy go to work? It is endless! Parents can only hope the 'phase' will end soon, right? Not exactly, as we get older, entering adolescence and ultimately adulthood, the questions only deepen. Why do I exist? What does my future hold? Do I matter? Unfortunately, if we don't have a trusted source of truth to turn to, we often let the world and people around us answer these questions for us. The hurt, shame, and trials that life can bring inevitably shapes what we think about ourselves and unveils our purpose, or lack thereof. I recall all too many memories of a diagnosis, a broken relationship, a poor grade or social media post has led me to the conclusion that I must have no worth or value as a person. How could my life have a purpose amidst the pain I'm experiencing? You Can Through Christ uses the truth of Scripture to answer the deepest questions of our heart and reveal the beauty of a new life that Christ bought for you. Each life on earth has purpose. When that reality sinks into our soul it changes what's possible. God intended so much more for our lives than the comfortable routines we've grown accustomed to. He went to the depths of all pain and darkness to make a way for us to experience His love, glory and righteousness! Through a relationship with Him we can do anything! Our lives are utterly transformed when we come to know Emmanual, God with us. Lexi is a dear friend of mine with passion and boldness I've never encountered before. She is on a mission to share the gospel of truth with everyone around her, and lives a life that truly looks different because of the joy and hope that Christ brings to her soul. That's not to say that she doesn't experience pain, disappointment or genuine suffering, but when all is lost, she opens her Bible, pours out her heart to the Savior of the world, and trusts that His plan and purpose is sovereign and good. There will be times when we don't 'feel' happy, but we have the truth of Romans 5:10, 2 Timothy 1:9 and Philippians 4:13 to rest in.
