Matthew 5:14-16 says, "You are the light of the world You are like a city on a mountain, glowing in the night for all to see. 15 don't hide your light under a basket Instead, put it on a stand and let it shine for all.16 in the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father." In other words we are to be the examples, and the illuminators, the ones having positive influence on the world in which we live, giving direction to the blind and the confused. We must be the ones shinning in the darkness all around us. If Christians make no effort to affect the world around them by being different, they are of little value to God. If we are too much like the world, we are worthless as "Light." We should not blend in with everyone else. Instead, we should affect others. We are the light to shine forth in the world to chase away darkness. This book will empower you to take your place in the kingdom of light and to subdue the world of darkness and its activities.
