You Are Still Beautiful

I am here to tell you that you are NOT your trauma. It doesn't matter what your mess looks like; it doesn't matter where you come from. The trauma came rushing in like a gust of wind at a very young age for me. Physical abuse, sexual assault, abandonment, and more led me to walk in fear, anxiety, and desperation that had taken over my mind, paralyzing me. I could not suppress all of the trauma that I did not want to be revealed. How could this be my story? I could no longer function on a day-to-day basis, taught to be silent.....No longer; it's time to speak up. Let's take our voices back together! In the lonely and dark hours of my life, God remained faithful when it felt like ending my life was the only option left, with no sense of hope ... God met me! My prayer is that my story will inspire you to find true healing and freedom as I did through Papa God. My hope is that you will be able to look in the mirror and see your beauty despite it all.
