Every mother should read this!

I have no idea where I got this book. It was in a pile of junk. It's more of a booklet, actually. God must have wanted me to read it at exactly this time, because I came across it and just devoured it. It's not exactly a devotional, but could be treated as one because it has very short and sweet "chapters." I laughed, but mostly cried reading this. It truly spoke to my soul and where I am in my mothering journey (I have an 18 month old and I'm having another in a month). I intend to purchase several copies of this and give them to every mom I know who could use refreshing and a dose of God's truth (which is every mom I know).

I love this book

I've reread this book several times, and it is very uplifting and motivational for women of Christian faith. Easy and quick read, I enjoy being reminded (as a wife and mother as well as a woman) my role as a Christian!

Short in length, long in impact, Stasi has been able to take the heart of Captivating and translate it into an offering for mothers that I found to be poignant and powerful. Not a "how to" but an offering to help us to see how God sees us and how that is then woven into our lives. It's a calling forth that is for those who have physically mothered or spiritually mothered, which is really all women. Don't think this a trite tract; it's a packet of seeds that God longs to water and watch grow in our hearts. Read it yourself and then give it away.
