This book is written to help children embrace their Native identity while healing from trauma, hurt, racism, and colonization. Topics covered include living away from Birth Family, expressing feelings in healthy ways, physical and sexual abuse, death and grief, addictions, colonization, racism, and building a stronger Native identity. As many sensitive topics are addressed, this healing guide is intended for adults to read with Indigenous children.
