great book for school child

lovely book about appropriate school behavior; the stories are cute; the pictures beautiful.

A Nice Collection of Yoko Books

My son started preschool this year, so we began checking out Rosemary Wells' Yoko books from the library. He loved them, they're filled with themes that he is dealing with as he begins school (sharing, making new friends, learning about others' feelings, etc.). This collection has the first six books in the series all bound together, each beginning with a "Golden Rule". The characters are sweet, and many are found in other Rosemary Wells books (like shy Charles and noisy Nora). We love this book and enjoy reading and discussing the feelings a preschooler faces when starting school for the first time.

My two-year-old daughter loves this book. She asks for it all of the time. A great value, since it contains six stories by Rosemary Wells.
