Great Insight For Anyone Working Alongside Their Spouse In Any Capacity

Yoked Together provides insight not only into the author's struggles and successes in partnering with her husband in ministry, but also reveals secrets for how to partner with a spouse in any capacity. The communication obstacles, expectation misunderstandings and God-given revelations that Twyla Brickman shares in this book would benefit anyone seeking to partner in some way with their spouse or seeks to do so with a future spouse. I thank Twyla for her authenticity in revealing things most of us try desperately to hide. Thank you for being real!

Great book for husband/wife ministry teams

This is a great book to gain perspective on the challenges that ministry couples face and how one couple met those challenges. I was a student of Les and Twyla Brickman's when they taught their very popular Cell Group Ministry training classes at Regent University in Virginia Beach, VA. This book provides important insights on working together in ministry, balancing the demands of family, overcoming insecurities and learning to blossom in the areas God has called us to. It's written in a conversational style with lots of personal stories mixed in as well. I especially would recommend this to women in minstry as it answers many of the issues they face.
