YOGA AESTHETICS explores an ancient idea about the creative interface between consciousness and physical reality. It is the basis of India's yogic practices, preserved over time through the arts. After 5000 years, it remains available to us through the image of the Nataraj (cover image). Today, inquiries about the interface between consciousness and physical reality are at the heart of serious scientific debates. Part memoir and part exploration across disciplines, Yoga Aesthetics: Quest for the Creative Interface combines Maxwell's intimate knowledge of an art form with resonating ideas from science to offer us an ultra-fresh perspective on our identity as creators of experience.
