I found that in almost every Bible today the very first verse, Genesis 1:1, is translated ... "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth." I had read this verse many times but had never stopped to ponder it in any depth. Then I began to question, "Who is this 'God' the Creator?, Do I really know what this verse means and do I really believe what it says? What does 'in the beginning' mean in itself and in relation to 'time' (as we know it)?" I believe that the truth needed in today's world can only be found in the full acknowledgement of YHVH Elohim as the "God" of Creation. But, do I believe in and am I living by His Words, His Commandments or by the lies promulgated by the world, the traditions of man?" Time to choose
