This book should not be judged by it's cover!

A wonderfully drawn character takes on her great-great-grandmother's persona by going back in time via self-hypnosis and lives her life in Antebellum Virgina. This book was not a book I would have picked off of the shelves. It had a painted cover that looked too unreal. However, my mother read it and told me I had to read it. I did and could not bear to put it down. I hated that it had to end. The story flowed like no other and the details were unmatchable. A definite must-read for romance lovers, historical lovers, and civil-war buffs. Even men would love this book.
