These poems were all written within the last week of April and first week of May 2018, during what turned out to be the only two weeks of spring weather in southwestern Ohio that year. The poems are about family, trauma, sexuality, nature, grief, (the loss of) spring, displacement, creativity, birds, Prince, and California.
