Yes, Dear-We Care for your Future

By: Dr Shridevi Rajagopala Bale

Yes, Dear - We Care for Your Future is a powerful yet simple storytelling journey through the past, present, and future of energy. From the discovery of coal and oil to the invisible dangers of greenhouse gases, this book unpacks how human choices have shaped the climate crisis.

Blending history, science, and everyday conversations with her children, Dr. Shridevi R. Bale makes complex topics-from methane emissions to smart grids-easy to understand and relatable.

Structured in three parts, the book first looks back at how we got here, then highlights the urgent issues we face today, and finally shines a light on the solutions already taking shape. From renewable energy and circular economies to indigenous wisdom and community-driven action, this book reminds us that sustainable change is possible-if we act together.

At its heart, this is not just a book about climate change. It is a conversation across generations, bridging science and storytelling, and offering hope that children, families, and communities everywhere can be part of the solution.
