Yellow star and the Yellowstone

Standing on top of a hill, not the mountains behind her, Promise looked down on geysers shooting up white streaming water only to fold over and fall back into their holes. To the side of her buffalo grazed as they slowly walked. She had been told this land of the Yellowstone was beautiful and can hold danger. For Promise it was not only the danger of the land, but also from the man seeking her to kill her.

1866, the life as Promise knew it in Fort Laramie changed. With snapped of the fingers it wasover. A dear friend had died. Promise was devastate when she heard about the loss. Whenthe door of the Post Trader flew opened and in its doorway stood the biggest man. BuffaloWarrior booming voice called out, "I'm here to fetch Yellow Star she has to come with meand her other friends to the Yellowstone. She is needed there." Who were the other friends;she didn't have friends here except for her aunt and her half-brother and Broken Wing herstepmother's helper. Why is she needed in the country called Yellowstone? She felt a bumpon her leg; looking down at her dog Moon who had a silly grin on her face. "What do youknow, Moon, that I don't?" Then the booming voice spoke again, "We must hurry "
