My Uncle Grenville March, from Lady Cove, Newfoundland joined the Royal British Navy during WWII to do his part in the fight against Nazi Germany. "Yarns From WWII Newfoundlanders" begins with Uncle Grenville telling his own life story and leads into stories of other brave Newfoundlanders who also served in WWII. I have endeavored to be as factual as possible in writing it, however in some stories I used a splash of fiction, but it was based on actual events. I have included photos of many of the men as well as photos that are related to their stories. I hope you enjoy the book as much as I enjoyed writing it.
