Let me say first off that there is little evidence that Romer Grey actually wrote these stories which were first published in the second go round of the Zane Grey Western Magazine published in the late 1960's and early 70's. A ghost writer probably did them, and they are no where near the caliber of what and how Zane Grey wrote. If the edition pictured is the one for sale this book does not have all of the stories as an earlier Belmont Tower edition had; there are only three instead of four. These three are: Siege at Forlorn River; Riders of the Kiowa Trail; and Heritage of the Legion. The fourth, Apache Massacre at Puma Junction can be found in the book, King of the Outlaw Horde, Belmont Tower 1970's printing, or in the Zane Grey Western Magazine Volume 5 number 1, August 1972. For what these stories are they are okay reading, but don't expect Zane Grey.
