Is God a big ogre in the sky with a big stick waiting for us to screw up, so that He can punish us? Is He a distant cosmic force off in the distant universe influencing what goes on in the world somehow? Did He just create the world and left it spinning on its own, so that we suffer consequences of our personal failures? Or is He a "Wizard of Oz" powerful creature that scares us to death? How can we relate to a God like this?

In this writing I hope to show you through my personal relationship with YHVH, One who desires close intimacy with us, almost as a romantic lover. He is the full expression of that love, to which our hearts were created to receive.
