The book was really good. I liked it because it was kind of funny and involved a dog. I would recommend it for third grade and up. I don't usually like mysteries but I liked this book.

This is quite an excellent book! I got it on Christmas Day. When I began reading, I just couldn't put it down. Todd Strasser has always been good at keeping the attention of his readers. This book is no difference. I would reccommend this book to anybody who likes dogs, technology, or computers.

This is a story about a dog named Byte, a retired AIA agent. He was chosen by Lassie, an FBI agent, to find the person behind this whole Y2K problem. Someone was threatening to stop the sewage system from working. Byte had to put together a team of FBI agents from the internet. The four of them met in a dog walk deep down in Central Park. Their screen names were Buffhunk, Richgirl, Foxybabe, and Byte. After they got to know each other a little better, they went to an old and abandoned multi story car park. Lassie had already installed four computers in a room so the four of them could do some research on this subject. They had to try and figure out who it was causing this problem before it was too late. The leader of the enemy was Mr. Curr. He used a tracking device which detected them getting closer and closer to discovering their "top secret" secret. He was going to back up the toilets until the year 3000. Mr. Curr rushed to the multi story parking lot and ran into the small room where Byte and his friends were waiting. Mr. Curr's men handcuffed Buffhunk, Foxybabe, and Richgirl. Byte was then muzzled and choker chained and all four of them were slowly dragged outside into the strange van. Once they were outside, they heard bangs and cracks from fireworks, people happily cheering and singing, waiting in anticipation not knowing what the year 2000 had in store for them. There were 10 minutes left until the new millennium. They all said to each other that they had failed their mission and had unfortunately let down Byte. As they were being pulled and pushed into the strange van, someone shouted, "Byte!" Why not read this exciting book and find out for yourself what happens to Byte and the gang. Gemma
