Very good primer for those unfamilar with X.500

Introductory chapters give a good overview of the X.500 standard. The book covers the standard in broad terms and should not be the only source of information for building a directory service. Latter chapters delve into the schema of the x.500 directory and should be interesting to those who really have to do the nuts and bolts development work. While it should not be the only x.500 book on your shelf, it is very good for technical managers and the like who need a broader view.
