A laugh-out-loud diamond heist set in Yorkshire. Featuring: The weather, landed gentry, an exasperated museum manager, a paranoid policeman, an overly friendly guesthouse owner, a London crime gang.............and a tramp.
When the V&A lends its priceless Indian Raj Diamond Collection to a sleepy Yorkshire industrial museum, exasperated curator Gerald Frobisher finds himself guarding the most valuable exhibition of his career - on a security budget that wouldn't protect a garden shed. Unfortunately, London crime gang Terry "Tats" and co. had already spent months planning to steal those diamonds from their old London home, and they are not thrilled to discover the target has quietly relocated two hundred miles north. Add in the landed gentry, a paranoid policeman, a suspiciously friendly guesthouse owner, and a tramp who knows more than he lets on, and you've got a heist that goes hilariously, chaotically wrong for absolutely everyone.
