Writing Prompts to Explore Gender (LGBT)

This workbook has 74 writing prompts to engage students in exploring gender identity and gender expression. Every page has a wildlife photo and a prompt that compels students to reflect on the issues that they are faced with in real life: what does it mean to be a boy or a girl, to like members of the opposite sex or the same sex, to be curious or confused about what it means to be a male or female, to keep a secret out of fear or to speak boldly to family and friends. Each prompts stems from a wildlife photo that I took: insects, birds, reptiles, trees, flowers, clouds, rabbits, logs, twigs, trails, cacti, fish, spiders, forests, trails, and more.
