Informative information on Writing Movies

Wonderful!

I have been writing screenplays since I was 17 and I am now 27 and this is the first book on the craft that I have ever read and it is the greatest. I have a couple of other books on screenwriting like the "Screenwriter's Bible" and "Writing Screenplays That Sell", but I never read them and just got them for formatting guidelines. But this particular book struck a cord within that I never got from any other book on screenwriting that I have look at. The stepping-stones at the ends of each chapter are wonderful teachers and guide for constructing a screenplay. What makes this book unique is that it is written by a group of writers who actually teach the craft and not someone who wrote some scripts and sold them and think they know everything on screenwriting. You feel that they know what they are discussing. I like the fact that the book has different voices for each chapter and the same one resonating throughout. I recommend this book to every writer from beginner to novice. It will best book you will ever have to choose on the art of screenwriting.

I was really sorry to see only one person had written a review of this truly tremendous and helpful book.This book is the most straight forward book you could read on the subject.Made me stop making excuses and just write the dang thing.One of the best hands down and I have read a few.Read this on the craft and then read Breakfast with Sharks.You'll be good to go.Oh and don't forget to read lots and lots of screenplays, doctor's orders.
