I bought a book this old only because my instructor is using it as his teaching text for technical writing in his Electronic/Electrical Engineering Technician course. And now I see why. It is a very good book. Old, yes, but it still applies. Maybe in another 10 or 20 years, English will have changed enough to require a new edition, but even though it is almost 25 years since it was published, it is still good. Covers all kinds of topics from grammar, proper capitalization and punctuation, where and when it is appropriate to use numerals or spell out numbers, report writing, use of graphics in reports, verbal reporting, etc.
BRAVO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BEING OUT OF SCHOL FOR TWENTY YEARS NOW AND FINDING MYSELF HAVING TO RETURN WAS BAD ENOUGH. BUT ONCE I STARTED READING THE TEXT OF YOUR BOOK I FOUND IT TO BE EXTREMELY EASY READING AND THE WAY YOU PRESENTED THE IMFORMATION WAS EXCELLENT. YOU HAVE TAKEN ME ON A PLEASENT JOURNEY AND MADE MOLE HILLS OUT OF THE MOUNTAINS I ENVISIONED. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE TIME YOU SPOENT WITH ME THE KNOWLEDGE YOU HAVE PASSED DOWN AND FOR THE MOST WONDERFUL RIDE THROUGH TECHNICAL WRITING I`VE EVER HAD, HATS OFF TO YOU MA`AM
