***A "must own" for all teachers!***

I'm not a teacher but I have 2 elementary-aged children. I first checked this book out a few years ago. (Trying to get ideas for a course I was enrolled in.) I was so impressed by the dedication, enthusiasm, determination and innovation of the students and teachers alike, that were involved in these projects (Social Action). It is very uplifting to see this type of action and I wish more schools, teachers and administrators would follow the examples set forth in this book. This book is definitely a worthwhile read and purchase. Thanks for reading.
