Writing at the River's Edge 2019 is a literary contest created and sponsored by River's Edge Brewing Co. in Milford, Michigan. The contest rules: Submit one short story (of up to 2500 words) or up to three poems based on any ONE River's Edge beer name. Contest submissions were accepted throughout February 2019, judging took place in March, and winners were announced in April 2019. Writing at the River's Edge is open to anyone who is at least 21 years old and who enjoys blending great craft beer with great storytelling. Because every beer tells a story, and beer & storytelling go hand-in-hand.
