Thomas Wriggs is a mature university graduate who has been unemployed for over a year while looking for work relevant to his degree in Creative Writing. Since moving back to live with his parents in his home town of Muckford - where he interacts with his morally malnourished friends and the surroundings he thought he had escaped - he has become apathetic and gripped by Writer's Block.
