Jacob has been preaching at the little church in Victory for a number of years and in all that time there has never been a visitor like the one that came today. With a little inspiration Jacob preaches the sermon of his life, and touches the lives of many in his congregation. Ada, with her always changing hair color and granddaughter who has had to face a little too much reality for a teenager in the last couple weeks. Jack, the brother-in-law sailor who has thoughts of taking his brother's place in ways the bible would never permit. Then there's Danny, or Pops as he's now called. The town has forever remembered a wrong that he had already been put to trail for, and found innocent of. Could today be the day for him to put that past to rest and get on with life, and love? Life in a small town is like that of no other place in the world. People are family, even if you've never been introduced. There are times when this "family" becomes so interfering that you do not understand what you have done to deserve the punishment you have been sentenced to and times when you thank God He has allowed you to live your life in such a wonderful place; with people you love and who love you.
