This book is a compilation of twenty-six scripturally based, thought provoking poems. Each poem begins with the corresponding letter of the alphabet and the scripture on which the poem is based. Most include an encouraging word and lyrics taken from a related song, or an old familiar adage. These poems are not meant to be regarded as scholarly works, but should be considered as encouragement in our daily worship relationship with God. The author is a retired college administrator. This is his third book. All of his books are written with the intent to encourage readers to prayerfully study and examine the scriptures for themselves (in addition to hearing and learning from others) to gain a better appreciation and understanding of the Word of God.
