WARNING: THIS BOOK IS NOT POLITICALLY CORRECT. DO NOT BUY IT IF YOU ARE OFFENDED BY PATRIOTISM!In order to have a winner, someone has to lose. As America, under the leadership of Donald Trump, seeks to rewrite the poor trade agreements his predecessors entered into, the other participants in the agreements may take offense at the proposed changes. Some of these trade agreements are so one-sided in favor of the other party, changing the agreement so that both parties benefit may, in fact, cause hardship for the other party, now that they have gotten used to the benefits of the current agreement. Some, as in China's case, may take a hard line and demand that the trade agreements remain in place or else. This is eerily similar to the situation our nation faced in 1940, just prior to World War II, with Imperial Japan. With the changes in the trade agreements, there will not only be economic changes for the other parties, but political changes, as well. In China's case, the reduction in their economic growth will translate into reduced political influence and power. As their economy shrinks, so does their political influence, due to economic strength equaling political power. He who has the gold makes the golden rules. In addition, their future economic growth and political standing will also be in jeopardy, because they may not be able to contractually control energy or natural resource prices, or the volume of supplies, due to lacking the capital reserves to do so.Just as we had to accept a reduction in our political and economic power over the last two decades as we signed one bad trade agreement after another, when we correct the trade agreement shortcomings, the economic and political power of the other nations will decline in precisely the opposite amount ours increase. Thus, Making America Great Again may cause World War III.
